Kylie Caramihalis's Travels
On December 9th, I went to one of the country's most famous national parks. I went to the Manuel Antonio National Park, which was four and a half hours away from the Adrenal Volcano. When I got there, I decided to walk the trails of the park. I went on the main trail, which lead to the Playa Espadilla Sur beach. I stopped there to have a picnic on the beach and swim. At this beach and on trails, I saw white-faced monkeys, sloths, racoons, and howler monkeys all the time. In fact, while I was on the beach, monkeys and raccoons happened to be taking other visitors food. This park is definitely one of Costa Rica's bet parks. It was created in 1972 to preserve the richness of the forest, and it also has many endangered species living in it.
