Week 7

So we left Shanghai and headed south to Guangzhou on an 18 hour journey that turned into a 21 hour due to some delay. Stopped in Guangzhou for two days and you could really feel the temperature change it was so much warmer.

Guangzhou is the main city in the Guangdong province. It is full of markets and streets full of department shops and restaurants. We stayed by the riverside where there was a ferry port to get to the other side, or you could get the metro. We took the ferry across for 0.5yuan (£0.15p) and walked around the market and shops. Didn't do much in Guangzhou apart from just looking around the shops etc. was just a stopover before heading to Hong Kong.
