So we're now in Florence, staying at the Albergo Paola where Clara makes us the most fabulous breakfast we've eaten in months; there's cereal, there's toast, there's eggs and prosciutto, there's yogurt, there's homemade-fresh-from-the-oven cake. Yum!
It's a bit sad that we look forward to our food so much, but Florentine food has been pretty good, especially the Gelati! We have several servings of gelati a day, but we walk it off when we investigate the markets ...
