Happiness Is The Road
When we awoke and threw back the curtains we discovered that it was a lovely sunny day. We looked up through the peppermint trees to a gorgeous clear blue sky. After brekky we went for a walk along the beach and soaked up the sunshine which was lovely and warm today. After this we headed away from the spirits that inhabited the Parry Beach camping area. It was one of those places where we felt like we were being watched. We had another short drive, only about 30 kilometres, to Peaceful Bay where I had stayed back in November. It was very quiet with only a handful of other campers here. We chose a lovely spot amongst the semi bush setting and chilled out for a while before going for a walk to the beach. When we got there the bay lived up to it's name, it was indeed peaceful. There was no one else here and all we could hear was the sound of the surf and the seagulls. Just as we were coming around the curve of the bay towards a rocky area a Jeep suddenly screeched round onto the rocks with music blaring! The mindless k*** in the Jeep got out and went to dangle his fishing rod over into the sea with the music still thumping and thudding. Our peace was shattered. Quite ironic really being in Peaceful Bay. After literally only two minutes he retracted his minuscule rod and zoomed off. What the hell was all that about! After this and with 'Bruno Mars' still ringing in our ears we went back to the camper van and cooked ourselves a hugely tasty tea. Luckily Peaceful Bay Caravan Park did live up to it's name.
