Finally - a goodnights sleep, exactly what the Dr ordered. I had a lazy start to the day followed by a wonder around Limas main square and food market. Tonight Abi and I were having a cook-up; I was cooking ratatouille and Abi - Lomo Saltado. We brought some fresh vegetables, meats etc and then wondered through China town. The rest of the afternoon I researched my upcoming Peru trek and in the evening when Abi got back we went for an evening stroll around the city. Lima is best seen at night when all the beautiful old Colonial buildings are all lit up and the crazy amount of people on the streets has thinned out. Dinner was a huge success, Abi's Lomo Saltado was delicious and I decided to add 3 big tablespoons of sugar to my ratatouille recipe that made it even more unhealthy but the tastiest ratatouille yet. We spent the rest of the evening chatting about Peru and Abi gave me some great advice on places to go and where to stay. One more sleep then the crazy two weeks with Cris starts.
