Waking up today to a perfect summers day was a wonderful suprise - apparently it happens only once a year where they get 3-4 days in a row of perfect weather. So with nothing really to do we went with a few of Jose's friends for a drive and then walk around the city. Today we had to get things ready for our hiking and camping trip tomorrow. Jose was working but at 1:30pm we had agreed to meet at the supermarket and buy some food for the trip. After a lot of rain in the night I was expecting to wake-up to horrible weather but surprisingly the sun was out. My plan was to walk up to the nearby glacier today a moderate 4 hour walk from town.
