It's funny how at airports you see the most interesting people. Funky dressed lesbians, a crew of hip hop boys, Asian families with no clue where they're meant to check in. But what interests me most is the weird ass dress sense of some. Get this. I see this girl and imagine Where's Wally red and white striped top married the pajama style of green eggs and ham character a had a baby. Full body pajama suit with red and white stripes. Then add some random jacket on top. What possesses people to walk out of the house looking like they just got out of bed and with that attire, why on earth would you wear an adult sized onesie? Thank god camel toe wasn't visible. Worst look ever.

First time flying with air Vanuatu and I could already get the vibe of life being slowed down. Being boarded was slow, the flight attendants got things for you but at the speed of a tortoise, pretty blazè about aircraft rules ie. people still standing up whilst the aircraft is about to land, just a general slowness all round really. I have a feeling I will be well rested and clear headed after this trip, ready for the new year.

So I land in Port Vila. Clear skies. 29 degrees. Hot. Suck on that sydney thunderstorms! Booyah!

Before arriving at the resort, I feel like I shouldn't expect too much as this place is kinda behind, standard wise. So all those images on their website are all well and good but I've heard that I shouldn't expect too much.
So checking in at the resort, my suspicions were correct. I wasn't blown away. But all is good. Still relaxed so I'm happy.

Gonna go to the restaurant and get a meal now, let's see how the food is here.
I hear tomorrow there is an Xmas eve thing with the local pango villagers which I might check out.
