Today we visited the town of Chemainus, a beautiful seaside community. Back in the 80's when the milling industry took a downward turn the then mayor of the town proposed to revitilizing the town to make it more attractive to visitors. It now has 44 murals in it's outdoor gallery. A path of painted footsteps on the ground takes you on a walk through town so that each of the murals can be viewed.
The museum had lots of interesting exhibits and they are currently in the process of doubling the size of it.
We had excellent ice cream at the 49 Parallel store at the marina. Yummy!
We had a nice visit with Linda Fahey on the way back to Brent and Kelly's. Unfortunately I did not take any pictures there.
Kelly went out to her dragon boat practice and when she came back home we had Chinese food for supper. Boy we are getting spoiled here.
