For all intensive purposes I am pretty much done now with most of the work I have to do until the end of the trip. My site visit last night ended up going pretty well, or at least everyone said that I did a good job. As you may know since I have a background in Italian in order to receive credit for the Italian component I needed to conduct a guided tour of some of the governmental buildings and speak to the condition of the government today. My presentation went about 15 to 20 minutes, a little short but hopefully the teacher cut my some slack as I was the only presenter that did not have a partner. Mine conveniently opted to take the class thereby leaving me out to dry, so to speak. But either way I am incredibly relieved, this should allow me more of an opportunity to contribute to the in class discussion, I have remained rather quite because my attentions have been focused else where. I find that I am settling into more of a groove, and as I am a creature of habit it makes my adjustment that much easier. I was craving a little taste of home last night so I went out and cooked up some hamburgers, man did that ever hit the spot, I don't think I have cooked a hamburger that tasted so good. As soon as the others get out of Italian class I guess the plan is to out for lunch and then go buy soccer tickets, which is apparently very popular here, though I have never been a soccer fan people compare the excitement to that of a football game, and I should miss my opportunity to check it out. I hope everything is going well for you all back home and I will being seeing you all soon. Keep in touch - Jason
