(5/7/08) 1:39 pm Palau | 9:39 pm LALast day in Palau I didn't go for a walk with the girls this morning - partly because I was still trying to get online to upload yesterday's journal and check my e-mail (never could get connected), plus I got a pretty good sized blister on one of my toes during yesterdays walk (so much for telling the truth on packaging - blisterfree socks my ass). I laid back down and put some apple cider vinegar soaked napkins on my burn(s).....

(5/6/09) 10:38 am Palau | 7:38 pm LADay 9 in Palau Well, I did it good this time...got burned where the sun doesn't shine so I'm having a hard time sitting down and walking. I did manage to go with the girls to Palau Community College and walked the track while they did their workout. I started in lane 6, did a lap, then switched to lane 5, etc. So I did 6 to 1 then back out to 6 again. I wasn't walking my normal pace, but it was still nice to get out and move ...

(5/5/09) 7:00 pm Palau | 3:00 am LADay 8 in Palau Tried to walk around the track today, but only managed to do 2 laps (.5 mile). Something has bitten the top of my foot over one of the bones; it's in the area where the foot creases as your walking. I tried to wear the sandals I've been walking everywhere in, but after 1.5 laps I felt the sandal digging into the skin under the ankle bone. By the time I made it to the bleachers, it was bleeding. Now I had 2 areas ...

While they did they're workout, I walked around the track 6-8 times (I lost track as I was listening to my iPod while walking). We were going to visit the jail gift house, but as we were walking down the street we found out that the dog show was going on so we decided to stay and watch it. I am so glad that we stayed to watch it because it was a riot to watch. Some of the categories were: Best ears, happiest dog with the best tail wag, best trick, best eyes and owner/do...
