After a mental four nights in Hanoi and Halong Bay we headed to Luang Prabang, a tiny and peaceful town in Northern Laos. It was just what we were looking for.

On arrival we checked into a guest house and slept for about 5 hours. It was the catch up we needed from the nights before. We then headed for a walk through the night market, grabbed some dinner, and watched the second half of the Chelsea game. Straight after the game we headed back and were in bed by 10pm.

That sleep lasted us until just after midday, which is when we got up and headed to an amazing bakery for lunch. After lunch we chilled in our air con rooms until about half 5 and then headed for sunset at Phu Si.

After sunset we grabbed dinner and then did a bit of souvenir shopping in the night market. Again, by 10 we were in bed but today we had to get up at 7 to get the bus to Vang Vieng. Before our bus we headed for breakfast at the amazing bakery and now we are on the bus. It left almost an hour late, has already broken down, and had to stop whilst a landslide was cleared. Somehow I don't think we will be in Vang Vieng on time!!!
