Joseph- happy fourth of July mom and grandparents (the only non immigrants reading this blog) Yesterday was quite the fun day, as we used our zell am see cards to it's fullest potential. We woke up around 11 and went to the local super market (billa is what it's called) to stock up on food in order to save money. We stuffed my backpack full of picnic materials and headed to the highest peak (over 3000 meters) to have a scenic lunch. Again my Austrian theory was proven right as every man on that mountain had huge calves, little dogs, and was yodeling the entire time. (ok maybe the last one isn't true, but it would have been funny if it was) We choose a comfy spot and made a lunch even chris would be proud of. We ate as we watched tandem gliders tandem glide. A short hike later we decided to go back down the mountain to further explore the city...
mickey- We considered just using the rest of our money for a chance to tandem glide through the mountains then calling my grandparents to save us and bring us back to Sweden, but Joseph was too scared ;) It really looked amazing, these people would fling themselves into the valley and soar up and over the mountains. The only downside was that it cost 600 euros. Can money buy happiness? With experiences like that, I'm starting to think so!
After our little picnic on the mountain we came down to take a boat tour included in our card. It took us and the rest of the passengers (all retired people drinking wine) on a calm (almost too calm) trip around the lake. After this hour of calm boating we decided we needed a rush, so we went on a hunt for a place to swim. Joseph, of course, was complaining the entire time about it being too cold to swim, but we both knew I'd push him in if I had to. ;) We found a swim place that was included in our card (because supposedly you have to pay to swim here... wow.). When Joseph first felt the water he screamed and called it ice, and I had to threaten him with blogging about what a wimp he was if he didn't swim. 0:) (Joseph claims it's what I'm doing now... I don't think so) ;)
Anyway, so I finally got him in the water and we swam out to a water-trampoline thing and jumped like 2 times before we both decided it was way too cold (the sun had gone down by now) (Joseph- take note Mickey finally came to her senses, and also guess who had to check if the trampoline was safe -.-)
Ummm no, Joseph pushed his way ahead of me so he could get out of the "ice" water first! I would never deny a trampoline :)
So, we jumped back into the water and Joseph found it surprisingly warm compared to how it was when he first got in, so he stayed in the water an
extra 30 seconds before running out. ;)
*as much as we tease each other it's all for da jokes, we're having a great time with each other :)

and we had 2 uh ohs the other day
uh-oh #1- I was being careless with the backpacks and accidentally exploded mickeys yogurt. It got over some items but nothing was damaged and everything was cleaned
Mickey- cleaned but still smells of yoghurt :( reminds me of the yoghurt I could have enjoyed!
uh-oh #2- Mickey was being careless with the backpacks (nah-ah! The water just opened -.-) and accidentally exploded her water bottle. It got over everything and damaged some papers we were saving for a scrapbook.
stuff happens.
mickey- umm so have you noticed it's my backpack everytime? both times my stuff got attacked by yoghurt/water and Joseph got away fine, why?
joseph- Stay classy.
