Hej igen.
- Slummery Blues -
In the heart of the country of Kenya
You will find the African slum
It is the place for the poor and corruption by law
Where you stay and you pray with your mom
A man he is making his living
By frying the African dough
Or illegally brewing, he will need more than a shilling
To provide for his children at home
The life in the slum is for slummers
The slummers are living the truth
They are living by day, need a shilling to stay
So we are playing the slummery blues
In the town of Nanyuki lives Salim
In a square, seven feet wall to wall
Has corruption to fear but seems happy all year
Know the fight for the slum is his call
He is working the bakery near
Or the governments building in town
For the shillings he needs to please the police
So they do not take him down and put dirt on his name
The life in the slum is for slummers
The slummers are living the truth
They are living by day, need a shilling to stay
So we are playing the slummery blues
The slum is the center for trash
Where the people are not thrown a bone
The slum is not good but ain't neither as bad
That the slummers would not call it their home

Håber I kan lide den. Om ikke andet er jeg revnende ligeglad (;
