Day 16

We went to Siena to do a little sightseeing and laundry. We drove in the city and did not do too badly on the round-abouts but could not find a parking anywhere close to the center of the city.

We eventually lucked out and found underground parking at the train station. We took a taxi and he drove us close to where the laundromat was. We then did some sightseeing with our laundry: we looked like real bag ladies... We took a bus tour around the center of the city: crazy drivers in very narrow streets. We returned to Dievole for our supper in the wine cellar. We dressed up, it was a very beautiful 4 courses supper with candle lights and live entertainment. We met some people from Quebec city, from Germany and Australia (a young girl from down under sang for us: she had a beautiful voice). And Andree danced with Stefano (our waiter).
