Day 18

We slept in today and got ready for our Brunello grand wine tour (6 hours). We visited a little town called Buonconvento (the welcoming place or good convent). Very pretty little town.

We also visited the abby of Sant'Antimo that was built in the 12th century (which is called the rock that sings). The remaining 20 monks actually sing and record their music. We also visited a fortress in Montalcino (14th century) and visited 2 wineries of the famous brunello wine.

We returned to Dievole, very late for our scheduled BBQ, very hungry. Jo had her turn dancing with Stefano. Back in our suite, we packed to return to Firenze. A long and late night.
