We arrived in Prague on a mild evening and were whisked off to our apartment by taxi. It stopped outside this rather dismal looking building which was being renovated with bars across a locked doorway. As the apartment manager opened the door we entered a dark high ceilinged area with wooden workman type planks on the floor and we all wondered what we had got ourselves into! After we climbed the two flights of stairs we were very pleasantly surprised to find a lovely three bedroom two bathroom apartment waiting for us. We settled in and then went out for a walk in what is an amazing city. We found a restaurant which like so many there, had a room under street level and had a lovely meal. It was rather late when we got back to our apartment and we noticed that there was quite a group of people milling around a local business and we were not thrilled to see that this time we didn't have a railway line beside us but a night club! And just as we hit the hay at around midnight it started up.....and carried on until 6.30am! And this was only Wednesday, still Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights to go!!!!
