October 5, 2012 - last day on the resort
We don't actually leave Florida until Sunday, but we're leaving Hilton Grand Vacation Club on Saturday and heading to Embassy Suites near the airport. So Friday was our last full day on the resort. We spent the morning by the pool and splash pad trying to soak in as much sun as possible. Mateo's comfort in the water has come a long way, he loves blowing bubbles and going under water. He's even trying the doggie paddle!
After lunch, while Mateo was down for his nap, I crossed the street one last time to the outlets. Outlet shopping is on a normal trip is awesome, but having them within walking distance is so dangerous! I have never spent so much money, but of course the real winner of my shopping sprees is Mati - he'a completely outfitted for winter! Every time I've ventured out I have yet to return with less than 3 bags in my hands and this last trip over was no exception. I got some great Geoxx shows for Mateo and some work clothes for me.
For our last big dinner out, we heads back to Downtown Disney and the Rainforest Cafe. This time we were seated near the elephants. Honestly, this is one if my new favourite restaurants! The atmosphere is amazing the food is sooo good! After dinner we walked around a bit doing a bit of shopping.
Once we got back to the hotel it was time to start packing, since check out is at 10 am. So sad that this trip is nearing it's end, but I realize not everyone has the opportunity to travel like we do, so I am incredibly thankful for all the memories we've made here.
