Bill and I are following your trip too. Are you half way there yet? It sure is a neat way to spend your summer. I think I'm envious.
If you see any interesting, different birds than we have in Ga and LA, take a picture for me.

Hi,
What a way to spend the summer! I have been cleaning out closets, digging up all the dead shrubs from the past 2 years and have managed some "recreatinal" sewing/quilting. I am heading to NY/Canada for a week and in July to Boston and the cape for a week.
Laughed at the "crazy craft room"...you have never seen my garage. What fun you are having, with and without frisbees. Hope you continue to take and post lots of pictures. Alaska is a place I have never been and until I can spend quite a bit of time there, I will wait to go.
Enjoy,
Dale
Mom
Having so much fun reading your entries. So glad you now have had the experience of seeing the Rockies erupt out of the plains.
I've always found frisbees make friends!
Keep it coming, it's great to live vicariously.
Love you, honey, mama

What an adventure you're having! I'm enjoying your travel accounts :) Go see pictures of our trip to Warm Springs on Facebook. We had a perfect supper on the porch with your Mom and Dad and Grandparents. The Hamilton garden is growing and the fence seems to be keeping the deer out!
Dad
Thought you'd like to keep up with happenings in GA while you're gone, so here's an intersting note for you. Believe it or not, we watched a new episode of Pushing Daisies! Go figure! What a surprise! We have a new screen door on the front (less interesting news), Scott and Bette had dinner with us and your grand parents.
I appreciate reading your blog so keep it up! Give us all the details you can!
Mom
Now you know what the Big Sky is. I tried to rate your message, messed it up! You know your "savvy" mama. Glad the dogs like you. Bette, Scott, Momoe and Daganny had burgers with us last night. Fun!Going to Jennifer Stevens open house today. With Mrs. Stevens good food.
I think a dip in the Gulf of Alaska will be just the thing! You may want to start the heat going in the car before you jump.
Love you, honey.
Aunt Bette
You all are halfway across the country! Pictures are a nice addition to your blog. Fritopie (fritoes with chili on top) was a food I first had in Kansas :)
Dad
Since you may not have interbet access everyday. Goahead and use your computer to keep a daily log. Then when you're able to connect to the blog, just cut and paste!
(Try the grilled fast foods, they're better for you I think)
Aunt Bette
Yum! Ribs, etc, what a perfect Southern meal! It sure sounds good!
Dad
Already eating peanut butter and only a day into the trip. remember, no national chains when you eat out! Good eats are off the beaten path!
Aunt Bette
Great idea John Pate! We're looking forward to reading about your adventure.
