Hi there from The ATL. I'm enjoying reading your exploits and LOVE the photos, keep it up!
The D and I are excited, only 3 weeks until our very own Northern Exposure. We're hoping we won't see any snow, just whales. Enjoy every minute, take it all in and make it last as long as possible. Looking forward to your next installment! Big hugs too.
Mom
Sounds so wonderful. I hope you get to see Pat and Raley(their daughter). Tell them hello for me. Thank Mary for me as well! Sue and Connie came this weekend. We had a great time. Liza had a trapeze show at the pavillion down there. Adults and kids, they were having fun. Bubba is doing fine. We visited the restaurant for a minute just to see him. He is working hard. Spencer is enjoying Scotland. Daddy and I are working and the dogs send their love, us too!
Mom
Wow, you are learning what it is like to be a member of a big family! So glad you are having so much fun. Keep it up!
Love you, honey, Mama

Hey John Pate, its Zach.I am realy enjoying your journal and since my Mom and I left for Florida (we are already there) I have made one of my own.I am going to be making all of my events in Disney World and going to my Grandmothers in Florida on www.offexploring.com/zrolfes.

I tried to leave a message last night, but it wouldn't take.
We went to a new Morman tabernacle in Washington DC when it was open to the public. When they start using it as a church, only Mormans can go in. It was an interesting experience.
Thanks so much for sharing all your trip info. Keep it up.
We got your thank-you note a few days ago. We are glad that you enjoyed our little gift.
Aunt Bette
John Pate, you're making a wonderful travel journal! We're certainly enjoying reading about the new things you are experiencing! Zach and his Mom left for a trip to Disneyworld/Florida grandparents visit today and he's planing to make a blog because you've shown him it's a neat idea.
Dad
I'm really curious. What's the miles/gallon for the truck, or is it gallons per mile?
Thought you might be iterested - I've been listening to Kelsey's ipod that she gave you. 300+ songs and there might be 10 that I have enjoyed.... but that's no surprise!
can't wait to see good quality pictures. Your dilligence will pay off with some great shots. Just keep on shooting and experiment a little with depth of field.

Goodness...you are moving right along. Why do ALL of the pictures say they were "yesterday"? Inquiring minds want to know. :o)
Continue to have a BLAST!!!!
Mom
They used to call tapioca pudding "bird's eye" pudding with those little balls. Speaking of "gag inducing". I think that's why you don't hear that name anymore!
Yes, Will Ferrall was quite amusing.
Thank Bonnie's folks for taking such good care of a wayward waif and keep having great fun!
Love you, honey, Mama
Dad
What a journey and even better journal. Just wanted you to know that I'm recording "Man vs. Wild" Will Ferrell Special. It's a riot. Betsy cann't stop laughing. SO relax enjoy the trip and you'll have a great show to watch when you get back.
Try to get out at night when the sky is clear and tell us about the stars. You'll probably get to see the Northern Lights eventually! Your camera is good enough, so maybe you can share a picture or two with us. I'll keep my fingers crossed!

Hi Sweetie!!! Am enjoying your travels. Reminds me of my old work days. One day here, another day there....
When you get to Anchorage, see if you can go to Blondie's for Reindeer Sausage and Sourdough Pancakes. Yummy!!! Also had dinner overlooking the Mudflats. Good Salmon and Halibut, BUT... don't even THINK of trying to walk out there!!!!! You'll sink into the mud and then be unable to get out. That is a NO NO NO!!!! We want you back!!!
BIG HUGS,
me
Zach
Hey John Pate! Sounds like you're having a great trip!! How many frisbees did you take on the trip, anyway ?:)
My mom and I are going on a trip to Disney World Sunday and then I'll visit my Florida grandparents.
I'll look forward to reading about the rest of your trip!
