Wow, lots of wonderful animals! Was the zoo naturalized for them?
Won't be able to do everything the car needs right now but we'll get a start on it.
Have fun climbing today!
Love you bunches, mama

I am having such a good time riding along with you!! You have seen some cool places! Lets see more of you in these pix!!
John Pate
Oh I didnt know Dave live out there, that's really cool.
But aunt jane you and the d should definitely take a road trip if you take your time it is a really awesome way to travel and doesn't cause much fatigue or anything (but it definitely can if you do it wrong).
And ya dad I actually keep thinking about northern exposure but anchorage is nothing like that, though we did pass through one or two canadian towns that come really close. I am going to keep trying new stuff though and hopefully there will be a weird alaskan specialty. yay about my car! ive been so deperate to drive! And its more of an outline than a script but its fun
Dad
We've been playing the sound track to Northern Exposure in honor of your arrival in Alaska. Hope you boys get a chance to go off on your own. To make the trip complete you need an Adrew Zimmern bizarre food experience. Malt vinegar doesn't quite do it!
Your car is going in the shop sometime next week, so hang out in AK for a while and hopefully it'll be ready when you return.
Great to hear the daily commentary. I'm really curious about the script that is evolving.... You may not want to tell us until it is finished, but I have a great title for you - "Chatsworth, Dalton, and Sasquatch - A long jorrney's tale"
Mom
Oh my, the poor dogs. I have heard that the Alaska Hwy. was rough. People said they would take extra tires and gas. Can't imagine putting a Bentley of any age through that. S0000000 glad you arrived. Enjoy some time on your feet!
Don't worry about us, you aren't missing a thing. Keep having fun, and writing. It is so much fun traveling with you.
Love you tons, Mama

Now you've arrived, I would think you have a better understanding of how far you are away from home having driven there instead of flying. I have not been on a drive longer than from the ATL to Fort Lauderdale or from San Diego to San Francisco but now I am inspired to plan a driving trip. Hope it is not too cold and you get better at avoiding those monster mosquitoes.
Hello from The D and me!
Aunt Bette
Your travelog has been so interesting! We'll definitely check back in with you to see some updates now that the 5000+ mile drive has ended. Bet there's lots of new things to see and do in the city!
Remember your cousin Dave lives in Los Angeles-wonder how many miles that is away from you :) He's in San Diego this weekend celebrating his birthday.
Love and hugs,
Aunt Bette
Aunt Olga
Good to hear from you. Take a picture of an eskimo, or bird or animal for us stay at home people!
Have fun.
Love, Aunt Olga

Let's see, I can't post messages when I'm logged in but I just realized I don't have to log in, I can just do what all of y'all have been doing (yes i know im supposed to be tech savvy ;)). Thank you all so much for following me! it really makes it a lot more fun having the input of all of you. Since I just started with the whole message thing I can't answer all the questions that have been asked, I will just answer the ones that show up on the current page, but I will answer questions from now on!
I am aware of the weird times listed on the website, the site is based out of the UK and so it somehow gets messed up before it gets out to where everyone is.
Ya we saw some mountain goats that would paw the ground and the lick up salt they dug up but there isnt any salt on the cars anymore which kind of surprises me, that wold be funny to see though.
The forest fire didnt delay us to much because we just stopped a little bit earlier than expected and delayred that travel to the next day
We did actually see one caribou but it was just a fleeting dance but no yaks or eskimos yet :-. And i did eat some fresh spruce leaves which apparently have vitamins in them when they are young, interesting flavor.
Daganny, I thought it was going to be freezing but it really wasnt to bad in that water, probably 60 or so, it was warmer than a pool I swam in before I left GA actually.
Cool i wanna see the baby pandas! But i'm glad you got to see Wes all the food we've had at whatever restaurant hes at is always really good.
Mom
Proud of you for fitting in some veggies. Dad and I went to the zoo today. Saw the baby panda sleeping, funny little fella. Ate lunch at Leon's Full Service in Decatur. Had a shrimp gyro, it was good. Wes was cooking. I told him where you were, he said "Cool!" and hello. Momoe and Daganny had their 59th anniversary this week, wow. Bubba and Ann coming over for dinner tomorrow. Tell Bryan happy Father's Day!
Love you my boy, mama
Ditto Daggles
Wonder what I did differently!
I was wondering about the water temp when you waded out to that rock! Just watching made me shiver!
Dad
Seen any Eskimos yet? Yaks? Caribou?
You're overdue for a good food story. Have some huckleberry jam on sourdough toast! Or smoked salmon and capers! Or wild blueberry pancakes! Or Spam!
