Day 9
Grandpa Nate made us French toast when we woke up. Packed everything up again and said our goodbyes to our awesome hosts. On the way to Idaho we went to this really large island in the middle of salt lake (Antelope Island) which was cool to see, though we didnt get to get in it. It just had a visitors center on the island and a bunch of trails where you could see buffalo and antelope according to the center, but we just stayed in the visitors center due to time constraints. Picked up the dogs from the kennel, they were very eager to get back with us. While we were driving we saw a semi that according to Bryan didn't lock in his tandem (back set of wheels) so when he tried to drive up hill the back end of the trailor ripped completely off, it's crazy the amount of force involved with those things. We drove (all in T-Rex now) to Bonnie's sister's house here in Rexburg, Idaho. Nice house with a big garden in back and chickens (which my parents would love). She has six kids from 8 months to 17 years old, I have no idea how they manage, but she is very organized and the dad is really patient so I guess that's what it takes. Their dad grilled burgers and hot dogs for dinner. Then we were going to go outside to play, but it started to storm so the older kids (Josh, Kathrine (18), Elizabeth (15), and me) listened to music and looked at pictures for a while.
Breakfast: French Toast
Lunch: Reuben sandwich from Arby's
Dinner: Burgers
