Happy Birthday Mom. Today we traveled to KLA-MO-YA casino in Klamath Falls, OR Intending to do one of two things. One, stay in their overnight RV area and take off for Susanville, CA in the morning or two, stay for lunch and then continue on to Susanville to spend the night there. Tomorrow we hit the road again. We don't want to leave. We spent most of the day at the pool and we did the impossible, getting a sunburn in October in the northwest. Not a bad one, but we are both pretty red. Made a new aquaintence at the pool, Loren Smith from Gresham, OR who just happens tp visit the Chehalis park during the summer. The pool and the weather were great, followed by even better pizza at Blondies in Sunriver. Now to get ready to go.

Dennis and Bonnie made to the RV park in one piece, his truck running once again. Judy and I walked around the park, enjoying the 85 degree weather and the crystal blue skies of eastern Oregon. Not to many Democrats running around here, these are hard working ranchers and farmers. We keep getting compliments on our "MITT" bumper sticker. This is a very beautifull, well maintained Thousand Trail/Encore RV park. makes you wonder why they all can't be this nice.

The trip to Thousand Trails outside Bend went as expected. It was not a smooth, uneventful trip. It was a beautiful day, sunny, warm and not a lot of a traffic. The first sign of trouble came when we were about 15 miles outside of Warm Springs. Dennis and Bonnie were following us and they started to have some truck issues.
