Happy Birthday Mom.
Today we traveled to KLA-MO-YA casino in Klamath Falls, OR Intending to do one of two things. One, stay in their overnight RV area and take off for Susanville, CA in the morning or two, stay for lunch and then continue on to Susanville to spend the night there. Since our plans are very fluid, we did neither. After hearing a weather report claiming we would have freezing temperatures tonight, we decided to move to a RV park down the road about 40 miles so we could plug the motor home in and have some heat without having to run the generator all night.
So here we are in Merrill, OR at a Mobil Home/RV park huddling amongs a bunch of 50 year old derilects that is all these people can afford to live in. Three cheers for Obama and his economic policy.
Dee and Bonnie treated us to dinner at the casino in Klamath Falls before we took off to thank us for all we did for them when their truck broke down. Not their fault, but we should have picked a better place to eat.
Tommorow we will head to Susanville, make a stop for lunch, then head for Sparks Marina and check in a day early. We start at Amazon on at 6:45 AM on Sunday. 6:45!!!!!!!?!?!!. I'll have to stay up all night.
