Hi Everyone

Wow so much to tell you and its 10.30pm here and I have to get up and go to work early in the morning.........oh well you only live once and what a fantastic life I have got at the moment!!!! 

I went to visit Jeff and Margaret on the weekend and it was fantastic.  Jeff picked me up from Sue and Lachlan’s after work around lunch time (Part Timer ha ha!!!) and we went back to his house for a bit where I met Morgan my Cousin who I think I scared a bit as he is quite quiet and the first thing I did was go up to him and say give us a hug then!!!! Ooops!!! Then went on to pick up Margaret from work……..She works with in a nursery and it was great to be around the kids I just went straight in and started playing with them and they seemed to really like me, must have been the accent!!! There was this one little boy there called Archie and he reminded me so much of Lloyd he looked like him and acted like him and I think that’s the first time I have felt proper home sick!!!! Oh yeah before we picked Margaret up from work he walked me around Glen Waverley (I think that’s how you spell it!!!) we looked in some shops and he showed me this building of where someone used to live that is to do with the Erika Stockade which is why I have a picture posted of it.  That’s also where I had to take a picture or several of the Australian flag just incase you thought I didn’t make here!!!!

After we picked Margaret up we headed back to the house for a good old chin wag and some dinner and of course a glass of wine or few!!!!!! I did over do it a bit the Friday night and ended waking up at 2am with a splitting head ache....but it was gone in the morning so that was ok.

So in the morning I woke up and Shaun was there who is Morgans brother and also my Cousin he had come round with his friend Mark to do some work on there roof, hence the picture of them on the roof, after I had said hello (in my jarmies I might add!!!) I got dressed and we went out for breakie, then on to do some food shopping.  We then went to Ramsey street which isn’t called Ramsey Street in real life its called Pin Oak Crescent as you can see in the photos, it was so funny Jeff and Margaret wouldn’t get out of the car they were so embarrassed Neighbours is not a big thing out here at all well not with me family anyway………Lachlan has banned me form watching it so at the moment I have only watched it a couple of times (all I can tell you is Sky has had her baby here and there is some good story lines to come), well that’s enough about Neighbours nut I did take a picture of all the houses see if you can recognize who’s is who’s!!! After that we stopped at the bookies and I had a few games on the slots!!! Didn’t win anything and only spent a few dollars (as you all know that I don’t like wasting money and how unlucky I am at winning things!!) after that we went back and the lads were still there and had just finished.  Didn’t do much that evening I just had a nice relaxing bath and a hot one at that as it was freezing over the weekend and went to bed.

The clocks went forward on the weekend and yours all went back so I am now 11 hours ahead of you all, just incase you were thinking of texting or phoning me.

So I woke up in the morning and Jeff and Margaret took me out to Healesville Sanctuary its about an hours drive away but the weather had cheered up on the Sunday so that was ok.  We were going to have breakie on the way up but decided to eat something there and we didn’t get there till about 11am and I had an egg sandwich which was the worst thing I have eaten in Australia ……………..On the way back in the car I became really car sick and had the worst headache I think I have ever had, I thought I was going to be sick all over Jeff but I never told him how bad I really felt (well he knows now!!!!)

Anyway back to Healesville Sanctuary, it has to be the best place I have been to so far…………………………to actually see the real Oz wildlife was amazing, and to stroke a Kangaroo was the best experience and one to remember for the rest of my life!!!!  I just can’t wait to do so many more exciting and rememberable things while I am here.  As you can see from the pics I had a great time and I think the pics speak for themselves.

So after getting ill on the way back when we did get back I took some tablets and my headache eased off a bit.  Then Shaun and Shelley come over to say hi.  Shelley is Shaun’s wife and they were coming round before netball yes netball they were both playing.  Well I just wet myself laughing when Shaun told me he played netball (apparently it is a big thing out here for blokes to play netball ha ha ha!!!) it was nice to have a chat with them and get to know them as the last time I met Shaun was when I was 13 and he was 17 and I can’t remember it at all.  Meeting Jeff though was like having Ron next to me and it was so nice just felt like I was back in England round Ron and Pats house.  I am really going to miss Jeff and Margaret’s company it was so nice to be around them.  But I will see them again and stay with them again.  I have also been offered to stay at Shaun and Shelly’s house so I have got no problem with finding accommodation………..it’s so nice to have a big family!!!  And to find out more about them as the last time I saw them was when I was to young to really remember.

So I am back at Sue and Lachlans now and I think the kids have missed me ………………..I had only been gone for about 4 hours and Harrison had already text me saying he missed me bless!! God knows what they will be like when I come back to England!!! I think I will be a mess saying bye to everyone but lets not think about that now I have only just got here.

I have been at work now for 2 days and it is ok, just like being back at ITE but without the stress.  I’m just doing admin, filing so it is a bit boring and repetitive but it puts some more pennies in my pocket so I can do more while I am out here.  Its so nice working knowing you don’t really have to it makes the day seem so much calmer, I just sit there and sort out the files listening to my MP3 player and just drift away its quite nice really doing something normal for a bit.

Anyway I must go am starting to babble on now and need to go to bed………..So just to let you all know that this Sunday I am off to Merimbula for a week and then up to Pam and Bills who have a computer I think so I will be able to update you about Merimbula.  I don’t know how long I will be there for but I will be back in Melbourne to spend X-Mas with the kids.
