Today, we ventured North to Rockingham. Rockingham has a beautiful sandy beach with clear waters that stretch for miles. We found breakfast at a Tea Merchants, where we had a choice of what seemed like a thousand teas! so we settled for good old english breakfast tea.
We then caught the ferry over to Penguin island and met the inmates at the discovery centre. The isand is a conservation area, so you can only walk through some parts, as penguins have layed their eggs. The penguins were very cute, especially the one who was malting, i think his name was Perry.
After seeing the Penguins, we took a glass bottom boat ride around shag rock which was covered in Pelicans, with the most impressive beaks you have ever seen. We carried on around to Seal island to find two Sealions basking in the sun on the beach, it looked like a hard life! This was amazing to see.
On our way back to the island, we met up with some dolphins, who were playing in the boats wake, jumping in and out of the water.
All of these wild encoiunters were amazing to see, we cant believe we saw all that in one day.
