Well I made it to Christchurch.... Miki and Beej (and Mathias) dropped me off at the airport and I had a safe flight (but bumpy on the landing, but I've had worse!). I've left all my summer clothing with Miki, so will have to go back to Auckland before I fly to OZ to pick it all up: didnt think I'd need my bikini's or shorts in the soiuth island! Got picked up at the airport at the other end, and am staying at a hostel called Stonehurst. It seems nice enough, but I've not spoken to anyone yet!! It seems quite empty, but I guess maybe it's quite early on at the moment... maybe everyone's still out??!! I'm in a room with two bunkbeds, and I think there may be two girls in there - but they're not back yet... I hope theyre nice! Think I'd better go and see if there's anyone in the bar area or the kitchen and try and make some friends!!??!! Wish me luck! Oh, and I've booked to go on the Kiwi Experience... starting Monday.
