It's New Years Eve!!! Woo hoo..... feel more excited about today than I did about Christmas!

At the moment, I've left Claire's, as planned, and am now crashing at a place in Double Bay (very nice area) as Si Hutton, who I used to work with, is in Sydney! He's flat/room-sitting for a mate of a mate of his, so there's room for me too! Perfect! Really nice to see a friend from home: he's just been to New Zealand and done all kinds of extreme activities too, so it's been good to catch up (he even did the Nevis, so I am very jealous!).

Sitting in an internet cafe in Kings Cross at the moment, but just about to go and buy some leggings from Supre though as its bloomin' cold(ish) here and looks like rain! Was gonna wear my Melbourne Cup dress, but just got on a skirt and green vest as it's not that sunny today! Si doesnt know what he's going to do for tonight yet, so I've left him at the flat. Hayley Smith, who also used to work at Concept in Bath (small world!), is here in Sydney too! It was so great to see her yesterday (went for drinks in Kings Cross and then over to Manly), so after I get food and drinks for the picnic I might go and meet her and her boyfriend Andy and mates later (also might not), but am first gonna go to the Botanical Gardens/'Mrs Macquarie's Chair' and meet Beth and her mates (who I spent Christmas Day with) and sit and stay there til the fireworks at 9pm! There are more at midnight too... hope it doesnt rain!!!
