Hello!!! I'm back in the city... had a great time at Claire's, but she had a friend from home arriving today, so I've moved to the Railway Square YHA in the centre of Sydney (opposite the Wake Up hostel (which was full - as is everywhere in Sydney!)) - I'm sleeping in a railway carriage tonight! It's brilliant!!

Hoping to be staying at a mate of a mate's flat from tomorrow though, so not too much hosteling for me - although I do love it! It's actually great to be back in a hostel.. so easy! And even though Wake Up was full, I just came over here (i'm using their internet) for dinner in the Side Bar and got chatting to a nice girl called Michelle who I might catch later for drinks - everyone is so friendly again!!

Had a great Christmas - woke up and opened presents with Claire and Ed (and Timba the dog), then went to Claire's friends Mary's mum's house for seafood breakfast!!! Yum yum! Also lots of bucks fizz - triple yum!!

Then drove down to Manly in Claire's red convertable mini, and met up with Beth and her friends Kirsty and Owen - also Owen's parents Roger and Anne and Kirsty's cousin Joanne and her friend Hannah - it was a full house! I did my first bit of body boarding, which I loved, and we played cricket on the beach (if we cant win the ashes, we can still have some fun on the beach!). Then it was back to Kirsty's for cocktails and games. After a lovely hot day (still didnt really feel like Christmas), we all went to sleep happy and tired.

I've spent the last couple of days relaxing at Claire's and being on the beach. Went over to Bondi yesterday and met up with Steve who I'd met in Fiji (he was with us when we stayed at the horrific "Gold Coast" - see Fiji postcards!) and today I went to Palm Beach where they film Home and Away (I sunbathed on Summer Bay!!).

Hope to meet up with lots more people from my travels, and home, as lots of people are here in Sydney, I love it!!!
