After leaving Emma and Scott we headed north to a small town called Port Macquarie. Our main reason for stopping here was to take a day trip out to 'Timbertown', a small 1900's style town taking us back in history to what it would have looked like during that time. It was cute and we are pleased we went to see it but wasn't as interesting as we thought it would be. We did have a nice little train ride though and was a nice day out. We were not in Port Macquarie very long to see everything but what we did manage to see of it was very lovely, and on our return back from Timbertown we saw the sunset on the port and it was so beautiful- it's a shame we didn't have more days there. We also had to spend the night in the pub with all our luggage until 1am to catch our night bus- was so embarrassing, we looked like right odd pots!!!
