Hey folks! Its been 9 or 10 days now so I thought I should let u in on the things that have been going on around here! I was leader of the group all last week, it was fun but Im glad my crown has now been passed on to Jay.
If I'm honest up until the weekend the week was fairly average, we just worked then hung out playing cards etc.... oh and I can watch WWE Wrestling and Live Premiership Football which is pretty awesome :).
So lets start on filling you in on the goings on of the weekend :) Friday afternoon we went to Thamel (Kathmandu) hung out in the hotel for a bit, I shared a room with Big Gay Al, then it was time, time for beer and time for pizza! Cheese, Tomato, Potato, Chicken, Sweetcorn.... it was like all my birthdays had come at once! Everest beer is well nice, and 700-odd rupees (about 6 n half quid) for a massive pizza and a 650ml beer was certainly ok by me! Then we trudged off to find Sams Bar, which we did after being offered random things like knives, drugs, purses, etc.... and it was awesome, the music was great and then we scribbled all over the wall to leave our mark on the place :) after Sams Bar we went back to the hotel and got a bit drunk..... I now have a henna tattoo stating I am now an official member of the 'I heart David Beckham' club.
Saturday morning came along and me, Alex and Tom couldnt be arsed to go out if Im honest so we stayed in the room watching wrestling, although I may say these days its more for the comedy effect than anything else! And now this is where things get interesting as we got back to Sirutar (after spending half an hour trying to find the bus) me and Tom were dabbling with the idea of letting Kweku cut our hair, I was first and we joked about giving me a mohican, well, I thought it was a joke.... and when he finished I'll be honest and say I wouldnt of looked out of place in McFly with a barnet like that! Oh and Tom got his legs shaved haha which is awesome as he now looks like a girl! I went to the barber's on Sunday and got him to tidy up my new do and it now looks a bit more David Beckham-esque, its actually pretty cool :) its growing on me, although in Huddersfield, where people know me, I would never get this done! So yeah all in all its been a good week! Pizza... Beer... A member of the I Heart David Beckham fan club, and I now have the bonce to match! You know I was thinking Being 6'3 tall and 4 ft wide I wasnt standing out enough around here, if I wasnt before the hair do, I'm certainly a celebrity round these parts now......

grandad hi james i'm worried about you, sharing a room with big "gay" al eating giant pizza, drinking giant pints,we know all about your bad habits so let us know something about the flora, fauna, and the people, what jobs they have, what do they eat and drink, what do they do for hobbies ect.keep up the good work.love from grandad & margaret
Auntie Jac Glad to see you are enjoying yourself (I bet pizza and beer beats chapatti and jam any day),but I agree with your Grandad. Tell us about your working day and the people, the landscape etc. xxx
The Best Sister in the World OMG i'm jealous of the pizza, don't think i've had one since before you left, and that was a long time ago!!!! Whats with the henna tattoo? You muppet, it doesn't surprise me though! And as for the hairstyle it had to happen, thought it would be a prank though while you were sleeping or something!!!! You still haven't told us what you do for work etc, and what the people are like! All you talk about is food!!!!! :) Muchos love xxxxxx
Kieron Sounds cool mate. get some pics taken and put on Facebook for us to giggle at.
Aunty Pat Hi James, thought there was something strange about your hair when I looked at your new profile photo. I agree with your grandad so tell what you are doing and what the locals are like? how hot it is?. we all know about your drinking and eating habits lol Caz got Married today, be strange to call her Mrs, don't think she will change though and be a bit more sensible but then that wouldn't be Caz. Take care of yourself, bye for now xxxxxxx
Aunty Pat Sorry not your profile photo with the new haircut but one you were tagged on xxxxxx
Jimmie Ah I can tell you guys a bit now, its more construction work, weve been cementing the floor, building walls, building steps, breaking tools, the usual =D. The people, some are brilliant, really nice, and most just stare and point..... but its a nice change, I miss my bed though IMMENSLY! Started reading a book 'The Interpretation Of Murder' so hopefully that will pass a few hours, plus I can get English football and Wrestling on the tv. The landscape at first was breathtaking, but were kind of getting used to the mountains now, dont get any less beautiful though. Got threaded by a priest today lol so I have a protection bracelet thingy on my arm now, they keep putting tikka on my forehead (rice and red s***) and its doing my nut in lol but things are good here, the work is good and I sweat my b******s off its all good though as the last 18 hours has been pure heavy rain, so Im hoping for more of that. P.S. The hair do rocks! Im keeping it for longer than 10 weeks haha. Got love for all you guys xxx
