Well guys its 1 week to the off, and I must say I'm feeling a mixture of anxiety and excitement but I just can't wait to get there and get myself settled in. For me 6 months ago it seemed a far away dream that I would be travelling 5,000-odd miles to go and help other people less fortunate than myself, and now to think its just 7 days until I get on that plane to Nepal for 10 weeks is just unbelievable.
To be doing something that will really make a difference for the better in people's lives and me and my fellow volunteers having a postive impact on the village in general, gives me such an elated feeling.
I think I am going to Nepal prepared (but I probably aren't knowing me) I have my trusty iPod so that will give me some reminders of home, also my Kermit the Frog t-shirt is coming with me as I couldn't go 10 weeks without wearing it (Yes, yes small things please small minds). I shall also be taking my fly/mosquito swatter thingy majig (thanks Kieron & Karen) but I shall bid farewell to you guys for now and hopefully I shall post a new blog entry within the next 10 days or so when I get to Nepal.
Wish me luck!

But for the sake of the children and other learning English, dobn't speak in a Yourkshire accent adding t's and appostrophies to the beginning of words or even missing words out as us Yorky's do!
