7.30 a.m we are up and packing,this is the way traveling is when you are trying to capture as many moments as possible. We all need to be at the station by 11.30 to catch the train via Milan to Como but the real high tide is expected as well , so we leave at 10.30 to miss that  nasty tide. All is good,catch the train  and we start the last leg of our Italian adventure. Approximately 4hrs later we arrive at The Palace Hotel in Como, check in,get our rooms, settle in and it is off again to explore as much as we can of this little picture perfect village.

We are not that impress with the township,there is a lot of graffiti , it is as bad as anything in Sydney. One thing leads to another and we think dinner is a good option, not the best we have ever eaten,so that has spoils the impression even further.

The Palace Hotel is like a scene from a James Bond  movie , or should I say the original part ,as there is now a new section that has limited views but larger rooms, Di has one of these, our room has a view of the lake but is much smaller, but it is nice, not great.

Hopefully tomorrow will bring new discoveries as we go by boat to Bellagio and look around there. Luck may be on our side and the sun may shine which will make it better for all.
