Thanksgiving was not too terrible here in London. I survived. Thank you for the calls Mom, Dad and Sissies. The service at St. Paul's Cathedral was so nice. Not because of the service...but because of all the Americans there. It was so comforting to hear so many American English speakers. I felt so welcome and loved and proud to be American. The Ambassador to England spoke and made me cry...he talked about being away from his family on Thanksgiving and how sad it made him...but that we were all together on Thanksgiving this year...a big family of Americans. It was really nice.
I went to the Tower of London on Saturday and it was cool. The Beefeater was funny and he performed for us basically the whole tour. I had Starbucks for the first time since I've been here. It was great.
Sunday I went to Hillsong again. Great service. My friends Katrina, Tina and Stephanie came with me. Stephanie didn't come last time so that was nice. Then we went to a football match here. Our team almost won...but it ended up being a draw (or tie).
Today I had school again. I went to both classes. It's so strange how little time there is left here. I only have three more weeks of classes. I leave for Prague on Wednesday, so I really only have one weekend left in London. It's weird. But I know it must be done. I have to come home and finish school and then decide where to move next (which is kind of exciting I have to admit).
Anyway, so I'll be in Prague from Wednesday - Saturday. I'll send postcards again. I love everyone...hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!
