Hey all,

I know, i know i absoutely awful at keeping this thing up to date but just soo busy!!! Well as most of you know last week was my birthday on the Weds 29th so it was a really busy week!! I started the day off waking up to a beautiful sunny day- which never happens back home in england, its normally cold, miserable and rainy so it was a nice change!! I then went to work on my birthday but it was fun as we had an athletics meet with the kids from camp. My squad love me not only did they sing happy birthday to me at the track in front of all the other schools but the teachers/parents too- then on the bus on the way home! So of course i treated them all with sweets tehehe! I then of course hit the track for training- where every one there again some how knew it was my birthday and got a few cards from there too.

My actual birthday evening i was planning to have a quiet one as i had training on the thursday. This did not happen tho! as we went to MAI THAI for a thai meal (obviously) where i got a free cocktail and then on to st kilda (nearest beach to us). Here we went to a random club that the boys had been too before and it was good- we then got informed of a club having a beach party (this of course was very quiet as a wednesday night lol!). Then we ended up in the crown casino where both Matty and steve ended up loosing money!

So after an eventful wednesday night- we did it all again on the thurs night, those that didnt come out on the weds came out thurs instead. We went to chapel street to a really nice bar called Electric Lady Lounge (as recommended by my friend Nick, thanks!) which was a really classy and nice bar- will deff be going there again! Then hit a club round the corner called Boutique and boggied the night away!

After working all day Friday and racing saturday (where I had yet another eventful day winning all my races and nearly getting my pb in the 4hurdles) we went to watch the rugby league world cup England vs Australia. Unfortunatley it was a very embarrassing result for us and as u can imagine the aussies were victorious and loved to rub our faces in it!

Then some of us who work for camp australia got involved with the Melbourne cup parade, which meant we were parading signs for the Emriates Melbourne cup and getting paid to do so! The easiest money I have ever made! The parade was in aid of the Melbourne cup which we then went to the following day on the Tuesday. The Melbourne cup for those of you who dont know is a massive horse race event in Melbourne kind of like Ascot or the Grand National (without the jumps!). So we all got dressed up in our smartest gear (thanks to the dress my sisters sent me for my birthday present!) and headed out to win or loose some money! In the end i ended up being 5bucks up on what I had orignially brought was very exciting- I enjoyed it very much! Apart from one of the boys who ended up with a good sum of money, every one else seemed to be in the minus zone bless them!

So after a long day in the sun, drinking and gambling! we managed to get home and pretty much pass out! The majority of people got burnt, excluding me and Becca thank god- yet hte redness seems to of nearly disappeared from the others! Well thats enough for now as you can see Ive had another busy week and a bit!
