hello people. so been in Vegas a day now and its very hot!! we're meant to have air conditioning but it's not working. great!! so today got up late cos knakered from travelling and head for lunch on the strip..end up in some food court and it takes bout an hour to wait for our food, which is disgusting anyway!! the rest of the day is spent looking round the hotels and casino's, can't believe how huge and ostentatious they are, very cool though!! went to one casino and in the middle is a 'sanctuary' for lion cubs, they were 9 months so were expecting little cute things but no they were huge! they are kept in a big glass habitat so everybody can look in and take pics, seemed a bit unfair to me but not something u see everyday!! went to the Mandalay Bay hotel to look round and it was amazing, cant believe how much they put in each one, walked through a mall with loadsa amazing and expensive shops, obviously didn't stop tho!! there's an aquarium in there with sharks, dolphins etc!! they hotels are so huge tho that we had to stop half way to get a drink...from wait for it...Starbucks!! we go all the way across the worlld and in a casino and end up in Starbucks, very odd! other casino's we check out are Luxor, built as a huge pyramid with a sphynx, Treasure Island and Bellagio..i know oceans 11 baby!! that night we decide to head out for dinner and have to get a buffet in Vegas, go to the Treasure Island one and it was amazing, all the food u can eat from sushi to meat and mash!! the best bit by far was the desert part where me and liz had been eyeing it up all night!! managed to save enough room for choc covered banannas, strawberrys (well it was fruit!) donuts, cakes, ice cream and candy floss!! think we may have looked slightly piggy like but we had fun!! after the pigging session we crawled to the Treasure Island show outside.."siren show" which was so much fun involving half naked men and women dancing round and a huge pirate ship! took loadsa pics so will show u later! also went to the Mirage show which was a volcanic erruption in their fountain with fire and dramatic lighting. was so cool and free so always good!! all in all an amazing night in Vegas!!
