Hey guys so we're now in Vegas!!woop. Arrived after a 6 hour journey which was so weird cos the whole journey was in desert, literally like in the movies, nothing around until you suddenly get to Vegas, which is obviously in the middle of the desert!! So got off the coach and suddenly realised just how hot it was..can't believe it, it's like walking in a sauna! this made the walk to the hostel absolutely delightful (i am in fact being sarcastic if u hadn't guessed), walking for half an hour with f*** off heavy bags in the heat with jeans on!!ahhhhhh. Ok the evening got a bit cooler so decided to treck down the strip and see all the hotels/casinos! they are so tacky, we love it! took loads of pics trying not to fall over again! managed to walk most of the strip without noticing, good exercise tho! It got to 11 before we realised we hadn't eaten yet so tried to find a buffet but no luck. we ended up in a sports bar at 12 with a pizza and curly fries, feeling very out of place amongst a load of sports fans shouting and getting drunk!! Decided to call it a night at bout half one and headed back on the bus...much quicker tho!! bit hard to sleep in the heat but we're pretty knakered so slept in a bit.
