We arrived at the jetty in Georgetown not really knowing what to expect, coming from an island that was a popular Malaysian holiday destination we knew it would be different to what we had already experienced! We arrive in Langkawi after quite a nice ferry journey compared to what we were used to!.....though this time we had seat numbers which seemed to have sat us separately from all the other passengers (which im guessing were locals) strange but hey, the seats were comfy and no sickness so we were happy!! After yet another boat journey we reached land....krabi jetty, I think the sickness tablets had done the trick as we both stumbled off in a dazed state! We had a short journey to ao nang where we got dropped off just out of town....our surroundings were mountains, trees with swooping vines, and wooden bungalows!.....we felt like we were deep in jungle and a million miles from civilization which was kinda refreshing!..our hut was pretty basic but all we needed...w...

So finally touching down on dry land after the boat ride from hell we were greeted to a man with a metal wheelbarrow thing.....so we dumped our bags down and off we went.....Koh phi phi has no roads so walking it was.
