An early start saw us getting our minibus transfer to Ubud aka ubudu as Geoff constanty said!!...the drive was crazy! Dodging cars and scooters...bumping up onto the kerb trying to get past the traffic!! Thankfully we finally arrived....crashing out in our room we dumped our bags and headed into the town for some food. Checking out places to eat, drink and things to do was our plan for the rest of the day....the next day had us enjoy a lay in, finding some energy...

Our flight over from Singapore was fairly short, there was thunder storms in the distance as we flew out from the airport....matt was desperately hoping we wasn't going in that direction.....lucky enough we didn't!! So arriving in Singapore, it was hot, humid and very very clean.....hearing stories on our previous travels we were cautious and wary of their strict laws, eg chewing gum is illegal in this Country!! Jumping off the bus we picked up a New Yorker, who obviously had on idea where he was (thanks to our research the night before!) we made our way to the train station. We were really enjoying our coach journeys in Malaysia, our trip down from KL was another comfortable ride, and we also got some impressive views and caught glimpses of Malaysians doing their day to day things. We ended our journey at the bus stop in central Melaka, our hostel was located in china town a good 15 mins drive away, we debated briefly on our transport options to get there......hmmm cheap slow overcrowded bus.... or expensive fast taxi??....We diffe...

After THE best coach journey we get dropped off by the side of the road....feeling confused we grabbed our bags and headed towards the bus station where we should have got dropped off at.
