So it is my final day in Last Beach and I'm pretty much ready to leave. Abby left this morning, because her grandfather was ill and she has also been feeling sick for over a week now. The rest of the gang are due to leave tomorrow (as with me and Gemma) so tonight we are having one final farewell booze up!

The last few days it has unfortunately been raining almost continually and our four islands trip and the trip to the cave had to be cancelled. We could have made it to the cave but none of us fancied sitting in the back of a pick up for an hour when it was bucketing it down. Still all the rain pour has been good for my skin, letting the mild burn on my face settle down a little! I also heard the loudest bit of thunder ever, which actually made my cabin shake and lasted for nearly a minute.

Am of to KL tomorrow which should be exciting, though I've not really got the attire for a heavily muslim country so I may have to improvise a little. We are then meeting Gemma's friend and travelling north through the country before coming back to Thailand. Should be good and it is another country I can tick off on my list to visit!
