ahhhhh I have been sooooo busy I have hardly had any time to respond to emails and write on this thing. I'm at work right now (it's lunch) and we are extremely busy because we have to have a really really large project done for Soccer Laduma which is the largest read publication for Males in South Africa and the third largest read publication in general. My part of it involves creating a 30 page document based on text, graphs, and pictures given to me from the magazine which will be used as a device for other companies to look at and decide whether or not they want to advertise in Soccer Laduma. It's a lot of fun and I'm learning a lot, but it's also stressful. Jesus Christ, I'm just an intern andi it's only my first week. My friend Shannon who works next to me told me that this is just the way they run things here, and to get used to it and don't fall off.

Other than work, I've been meeting lots of new people. I have new friends from Germany, New York, and South Africa. On Monday, Kate, Peter and I took the mini bus taxi down to the waterfront (it only cost us like 2 dollars to get there and back and it's on the other side of town). It was full of tourists and overly priced restaurants but it was still realllllly pretty. I'm going back soon to visit Roubon Island, but tickets are impossible to get now because of the extreme amount of European tourists...hardly any American's though. I promise I will put pictures up soon
