Hi Jan - hope all is well. Looking forward to a long weekend off, but true to form for Bank Holiday weekends, its Friday afternoon and it's thundering, lightening and chucking it down with rain! Hooray!! We haven't had rain for weeks and it has to wait until now! Apart from the weather everything else is fine and the "boys" are well. Best wishes, Helenx

Hiya! Am very annoyed as I left you a Happy Birthday message on 30th April, but it's disappeared!! I think your website must have had a "blip" that day as the last message posted was in November! You're obviously having a fantastic time - so many wonderful experiences - I'm very, very envious. I cannot believe how many places you've been to. Look after yourself. Hx

Dear Jan, Happy Belated Birthday!Sorry I have not been in touch but am up in N Wales still at the farm until the 5th May then back to London to the boat which will seem very strange as not been living there since Feb 15th.
My toes are improving daily most of the swelling has gone down and today for the first timeI am able to put my normal size sandal back on.(I have been wearing a size too large to accomadate my swollen toes)
Your pics look idillic, mind you one cannot beat a view of the Rhineog mts which I am gazing at as I type, beautiful day here and a couple of days ago I heard the cuckoo. It seems so long since you left these cold wintry shores!
Well, had better finish off now as I have a few campers arriving to book in and the B and B is full tonight it never seems to stop here.
Take care,Love DEnise x

Hi Jan
I saw on the news this morning that there was a terrible accident between a coach and a lorry where five gap year students from the UK were killed out where you are or have been recently there are other casualties some serious and some walking wounded hope you are fine and still enjoying yourself. The weather here is changeable but I noticed the !st swallows about a week ago and have now several flying around my cottage and the river in front.
Regards Owen

Hiya! Sounds like you're having a wonderful time. Believe it or not it was 19 degrees here yesterday, apparently we're in for heavy frost this weekend - typical! Sadly you missed Mells Daffodil Day - the bit I saw resembled a rather unpleasant car boot sale with large areas of squashed daffodils - nothing changes. Thank you for your email from Galapagos - extremely envious! Look after yourself. Hx

Morning traveller
Its Easter Sunday morning, the grandchildren are having all of thier friends around at Heather's, and true to form - its raining. The eggs will get very soggy in the garden, there is even snow in the Midlands and North.
Not much news, its Jeremy's birthday on Tuesday - only 3 more of those before he is entitled to a glof trolley!!
Keep up the good blogs, always enjoy reading about the fabulous things you are doing.
Looking forward to seeing you when you get back, but we wont talk about that just yet.
