Have read your trip details and it sounds great. I watched a travel programme this morning, giving the run-down on the twenty best islands to visit. Cuba came out first. Are you going there? All is well here. No golf at the moment. Too wet for me.

All seems to be going well. You are now entering a part of the world that I never got around to visiting. Remember when you want to know what something is, just say Como se Dice and point. The Seniors had a very muddy 3 ball Texas Scramble yesterday Wed 23rd. My team came 2nd, net 51, we lost it on countback. Keep enjoying it Jan.

Hi Jan - great tales from NZ. The cave adventure sounds something else. The cave rafting tour wasn't run by A&S by any chance was it? With being kept in the dark and noises not meeting expectations it sounds very familier to me....I won't bore you with my recent adventure of travelling to West Chinnock the other afternoon to meet with the new NHW co-ordinator as you may get very envious and homesick!!! Good luck with your next experiences in Chile and I look forward to hearing more tales of the unexpected. District finally brought in an expert with the intention of eradicating the flies. He promptly sent some gas/chemical spray into the ceiling (we did at least evacuate) and the fly problem has been declared solved! But as there has been no effort yet to seal up the openings in the outside wall watch this space next august/September!! Maybe with all that chemical spray they will emerge glowing like those worms in the NZ cave!! Must finish as I have lots and lots of important work to do.....Have fun

High Winds Inside and out also heavey rain and flood warning you are certainly in the right place. Recieved your pressie this morning,thank you so much.I haven`t tried it on yet bit sure it will fit.
I am off to see "the golden compasss" tonight with Shelley and her son Ben which will make a nice change as I haven`t been to the cinema for ages,too expensive but orange mobile do 2 4 1 on a wednesday so thought we would all go.Weather like Siberia today as Russia are sending their winds to us,supposed to snow tommorow then turn milder,can`t wait till spring.Had a nice boxing day in Somerset with Tanya and family,had a quiet night on the moorings with a couple of friends for new years eve.Not much else exciting here,eat,sleep and drink mainly!Love all the pics and blogs,take care,Denise x
