Gooday Jan'Hve enjoyed catching up with you by looking at pics and msge board just now,sorry haven`t been in touch more I seem to need 48 hrs in a day at present!Cold here today so instead of racing off to allotment at the end of the day I thought I would come into the warmth of the library!Tanya and family came up for the fireworks on the pontoon and a good time was had by all,we even had a picnic on the pontoon about 7pm as it was so mild and also because it`s too stressful trying to feed 8 bodies inside a small boat!Will be going up to N wales on the 23rd for 2 wks for rest and relaxion(and to look after the farm)whilst my friends are away in Japan,lokks like thay have sold it.must go as nearly out of time in the library!take care,love Denise x

Keep looking for the hat. My cork collection is growing!! Off to Cornwall with the family this weekend. ( assuming Sue doesn't get up to her old tricks again!!) Renting a cottage in Padstow for a week though I somehow expect that the Atlantic may be a degree or two chillier than you are currently used to....The sailing photos look great and as for the scenery - well what can I say? As I am writing this another fly has fried in the machine so you do not have sole rights on BBQ's.......There goes another beauty - you cant beat the smell of freshly fried food can you??? Continue to have fun and keep the blogs/photo's coming. Will write again after Cornwall - and another one bites the dust.....

Thank you all so much for your messages. You probably have no idea how much they cheer me up. Despite the fact that I have just come off a six day sail around the Whitsunday Islands. I still miss you all. The Whitsundays were brilliant apart from the bit where I did a very graceful back somersault with half tuck off the back of the Zodiac dingy - but more of that in my blog. Presently in an internet cafe trying to work out the intricacies of getting my photos onto this site - I could be some time so farewell for now - catch you all soon. Luv Jan

Trip sounds great, but I really don't know why you went away as it has been really lovely here, lots of perfect Autum sunshine, warm enough to eat outside.

Our news, Joanne got engaged last weekend to Vinny. We are so happy for her, they make a lovely couple. No date set yet, she is not going to start detailed plans until after Heather's wedding in May.

We are both as busy as ever, but Jeremy is taking me away for the weekend to Shrewsbury, we have booked into a nice hotel so will spoil ourselves for the weekend.

Hi Jan - enjoy your sailing and don't lose your camera this time. When you send me the hat don't bother with the corks as I am busy sampling various wines in preparation for purchasing a case or two and am saving the "stoppers." Sue is obviously on the mend as she could watch the recent firework display without falling over - mind you that was before she attacked the wine!!!! Must fly now. You are looking well great photo's food looks good, received the postcard this week at work. Hope you are well as Dave has informed I have moved back to our old office as the flies were really getting to me. I fear david may not escape and I wonder if you could find him a hat with dangling corks and if you could get it to him with some urgency as the powers that be are doing nothing to cure the problem. Without my support across the desk he may succumb. but enough about flies I think we are all envious of you .

Tell the flies not to worry about passports as all they need to do is latch onto a lorry somewhere in Eastern Europe and they are as good as here. The Government have trouble getting their figures correct anyway so we would never notice the extra in this office.... Owen has moved back to our original office as his corner is particularly bad. Talking of bad it was bad luck about the break in but if you want to start a NHW over there please let me know - that would be one Inaugural talk that I'm up for!! Must say that the fish meal looked good - how are the crabs?? Keep smiling and mind that cold water...
