After over 24 hours straight travelling we are pretty wiped out tonight, we eventually got here at 8.30pm local time.
Both flights were amazing Emirates are by far the best airline i've ever flown with. We had free drinks for 17 hours and ended up getting wasted lol. On the way there i watched Revolutionary Road, The curious case of Benjamin Button, Watchmen and The International and also played pool for abit, only managed to get 4 hours sleep. The stop off in Dubai was good and naturaly headed for the first McDonalds. I had a chicken big mac meal...i've never seen this before so obviously rushed it. It was average.
On the flight to Japan we had Soba Noodles and Chicken Teriyaki for dinner and Sea Bass with eggplant for breakfast, was awesome, tryed to show Jonny how to use chopsticks with some success.
Once we arrived we checked in and met some random american who was a geezer, after that we just walked around the streets in our local area. We didn't take our phrasebook out so didn't try one of the local places you can see in my pictures, Fukushima is full of small bars and resteraunts as my pictures but only 10 people max? can fit inside each one. crazy. The locals had some sort of code for going in so we will try that tomorrow we just stuck to the big old faithful big mac for tonight. This will not happen again for the rest of the trip.
Plus were pretty tired so we just got some cans etc and went on our roof garden and met everyone else we are staying with.
I haven't got used to the bowing yet.. they literally bow at everything but i'm having fun bowing back and saying arigato even though they haven't said that back really, they say something more like arigato arumass which i haven't quite worked out yet.
I am staying here until Monday morning in Fukushima which is a small suburb in Osaka. An amazing place.
Tomorrow we are waking up at 7.30am and going to Osaka castle, Umeda Sky tower, Osaka Aquarium where they have giant japanese spider crabs..google them, there not even funny, and then going to America-kura for shopping and trying to find Three Tides Tattoo.
I'm sure i have missed loads out but i'm absolutly wasted.
Japan is insane.
