Leave for LA about 9.30. Arrive in downtown to meet Pedro, Paul's friend to pick up his apartment keys. Pedro works as a waiter in a lavish and growing restaurant.

We get to the front door to be greeted by his hyperactive French Bulldog Luna!

After taking Luna for a walk we head off to Hollywood to the Sunset Strip Music Festival.

There is an eclectic mix of people here. Many 40+ year old wannabe rockstars with girlfriends with silicon airbags for t***!

We get a bite to eat from one of the food trailers and then take a walk around. We check out a screamo rock band in Whiskey-a-go-go a famous bar where the doors first hit it off. The band are pretty sick! We then head over for some Jack and cokes before going into another one of the club/bars taken over by the music this weekend. Pigeon John a slick lyricist kills a set before we head out to watch Public Enemy tear it up!

The set by Public Enemy is awesome. With Flava Flave and Chuck D bouncing about non stop and dropping the hits. Supported by some amazing skills by the DJ.

We then head back to meet Pedro. Going for the scoffiest meal at his restaurant - Calamari, Mussels, Stone baked Margarita Pizza, Crispy Rice Balls followed by a butterscotch dessert.

Then we head to a Downtown rooftop bar, queue jumping and free entry. It was complete with a pool and an amazing view of the city.

What a day!
