Hi everybody,
Time to update you once again about my adventure down under ;)
Hmm, where shall I start? Perhaps today :P I woke up pretty early this morning (slept like 6 hours or something) and I was very hungry! So I made myself the usual breakfast and then watched the news on the tv. I was shocked by the image of a kangaroo in a boxing match! :S!!!! The kangaroo was chained or something and being controlled by a person, while another person (the boxer) was provoking the poor animal... The boxer was hitting the kangaroo and you could see that the kangaroo was fighting back, using its hands (or legs?) like a human being. The kangaroo was a bit taller than the boxer. And I guess for the amusement, the kangaroo was also wearing a pair of gloves and a pair of boxershorts.. :S!!! It was really strange to see this. It seems to be a hot issue, since many people reacted to this news in a negative way. Well, I hope they quit with this right away! Just reminds me of the poor bulls in Spain...
Talking about kangaroos... I haven't seen any yet! :S!!! Wow.. I am in Aussie and I haven't seen one yet?! Well, perhaps because I am hanging around mostly on campus, at home, or in the city center, which are obviously no good places to have kangaroos around :P I still have to figure out what's on here. But I have heard of the Perth zoo and aquarium, which I definitely wanna visit! Don't know when yet, as I am pretty busy.. but perhaps next weekend or the weekend after next... haha, I'll take pics so I can show you some typical animals in Aussie!
Oh, and on the news I have also heard about heavy floods in Queensland! :S!!! But it doesn't seem to be in the place where my sister is now.. at least, they didn't mention it.. and she didn't either tell me about it, so she must be ok :)
Today I am going to the swan river bank :) I'll have a map with me, so I don't get lost :P Longing for a moment of rest now... haha... And tomorrow I'll probably go to Greenwood and watch the movie skin, which seems to be based on a true story... about a girl born black while her parents are white.. and that during the time of race discrimination in South Africa...
And later on, I should practice some more chinese! Have to expand my vocabulary :P and buy a dictionary as well..

Litje Hey wei wei, The movie was touching. Very nice story but also quite sad. Just made me wanna fight against all the injustice in this world :P... But I had a lovely time with my teacher and his family :).. Felt really like I was part of the family... We had picnic again and when the movie started, it became dark. It was very romantic; being outside, enjoying the fresh air, looking at people around you, seeing the stars above you (I saw the Orion! That was sooo cool! Gave me the feeling that I was not so far from home after all.. :)) Can you see the Orion as well? Read your weblog by the way :) I'm so happy everything is alright with you :) You can call me anytime!
