Quiet day in Katherine today. We arrive here yesterday afternoon after spending the morning swimming at mataranka thermal pools. We met up with Rowland and Melissa and their boys. Issy was so excited to play with them and has been running crazy ever since. We are all staying in the same caravan park which is lovely to catch up with them all.
We went on a croc spotting tour last night along the Katherine river, saw heaps of fresh water crocs and watched him feeds one on the bank where we were having dinner. Was very cool.
We did a bit of running around looking for new tyres for the car (seems that will have to wait until Darwin) and a little shopping and swimming. Was nice to have a quiet nothing day again.
Plans for next few days is a cruise along the Katherine gorge and a bush walk along the gorge.
