So we arrive in Santiago after a couple of days back in Lima for our final few days in South America.

Friday 23/03/07 we arrive into our hostel and get straight back out to see some of Santiago. We go to the top of the hill in Bellavista and get the train and cable cars to get a panaramic view of Santiago which is a little blighted by the smog but when it clears you can see a ring of mountains surrounding Santiago whichon a clear day must look awesome and Santiago is quite built up and alot bigger than I expected. Straight away you can see that Chile is the most developed out of the countries we have visited and alot of people speak good english here. That night we go out for a meal with some of Asha's mates from Nepalto a Peruvian restaurant owned by one of the girls fathers. After this we go to Claudia's flat for a spot of karaoke and alot of drinks and after this and pissing off the neighbours we head out to a club in 3 cars but only the 1 that I'm in makes it and in there is me and 4 girls!!! So clubbing in Santiago is madness I get so drunk I don't know how I got back to the hostel apparently at 8am the next day.

Saturday 24/03/07 recovery from night before.. I am to quit drinking... After rising in the early evening I get told by Ash about the night before.. Apparently we went to another girls house, had 8 of us in a Renault Clio and got kicked out of a cab.

Sunday 25/03/07 We go and do some sightseeing as Asha is off tomorrow..We go to the Museum of Fine Arts (sheet), National History Museum (sheet), Pre-Columbine Museum (sheet), Plaza De Armas (sheet), Government Building (sheet - but apparently we were on the wrong side) and Cathedral which was actually very nice.

Monday 26/03/07 Relax day as Asha is off this evening and so we just get our sheet together. Asha leaves and I've lost my wing man... OK need to find another for tonight.

Tuesday 27/03/07 OK well no joy finding a wing man last night and today I must retrun home!! I take a stroll to the famous poets house (I don't know his name) and then onto the arts markets but they ain't the same without a professional shopper like Ash so I go back to hostel drink a bottle of wine and get a cab to airport (sheet it's only 4.20pm but hey end of holiday and all that).

So my time in Sudamerica is now over and I have to say Adios ... but I will return... 1 day.

Flight at 8.40pm to Atlanta and then only 14 hours so lets hope customs let me out for a bit. Oh and England are playing Andorra so should be a good day. Start with some pancakes and maple syrup, have some more junk for lunch followed by more junk for dinner!!! Yippee
