We had a wakeup call at 7:00 so we had time to wake up, eat breakfast and walk to the arena. The breakfast was really nice. Cereal, eggs, fruit, veggies, breads, croisants, meats, cheese - my kind of breakfast and it is included in the cost of our room.
9 am - The boys played a pickup game with a mens team (20-30 yearolds). The owner of the arena said if he let us use the arena for the boys to get the bugs out and help with the jet lag his team had to be able to play us. They were as excited to play a Canadian team as we were to play them. The boys played for 2 hours - no whistles - 10 minute break to flood the ice in between. The ice was only put in yesterday - season is just starting for them over here. It also looked like they were skating on the cement because they don't color their ice like we do. The game ended in a 12 - 12 tie.
We had a nice lunch at the hotel. Prices are very cheap. Food is good. Then we sat around as a big group on the patio drinking...red wine and beer. At 4 we are going to Modra to explore that city...can't wait...I haven't had much opportunity to take pictures of the surroundings so watch out here I come. I bought 16G of additional memory and another battery for this trip...plus I have Julie's camera too!
There is nothing open on Sunday's here. Stores are closed. No convenience stores open...taking a little getting used to.

Dinisha Vanasse Glad to know things are finally getting better for you guys. Sounds like a nasty airport experience. Nothing to report here. I only have three shifts this week and I'm going to get all of my shots and tests on Wednesday. I also had this whole weekend off - slept for 11 hours straight :) Guess I needed it. Talk to you guys later. Love you and miss you!!!
