well first of all is a couple of days ago while me+the girls in my room were still there we had some little parakeets fly onto our balcony and we managed to get them to feed out of our hands using sugar and they were so cute, but then one of the guys feed them some cider nand the male one turned mean and tried to bite the other girl adn then they flew intro our room and it was really funny as then the others were scared to go out onto the balcony, but they had such beautiful coloured feathers,
and then on saturday we went to the blue mountains, we all got picked up from outside the hostel in a mini bus with our tour guide as the driver and it was an hour and a half drive away till we got to the blue mountains and we first got to stop at one point where we got to see some wild kangaroos and we saw 4 1 big male and 2 females and one with a joey in her pouch, which was really cute and then we saw an aboriginal tribes mark carved into the tree trunks which was a turtle for that part then we went into the little town to get some breakfast or a snack as we had to leave at 7:15am then after that we drove for 45 minutes to the actual blue mountains where we went into like a national park or wildlife sancturary and we saw some amazing waterfalls and walked about there and it was really amazing view wise and we saw a snake, just kind of took your breath away and then we had to walk all the way back up loads of steps and then we had a picnic lunch, just a cheese and cucumber sandwhich for me as it was cheese and/or ham as you made your own sandwhich as the guy just laid it out for us and i also had a bit of pasta but i was really full from my sandwhich and water as it was so hot that you drank loads and then we all refilled up our water bottles and got in the mini bus and drove to the next blue mountains part that hjad the mine in it and the 'thousand steps down' walk whereagain we were like in the rainforest and we saw a funnel spiders web which i think is one of the most deadly spiders in the world, and we saw another amazing waterfall which is by the 3 sisters which i think you can see if you type it into google but i have some photos which i shall upload soon i hope, just trying to upload a few more onto facebook as i type this now and it's taking it's time and i'm not sure which one's i have and haven't uploaded yet so no doubt there will be duplicates, but after our walk down some really steep really narrow really old and corroded steps which i just about survived as they were so easy to trip down and probably break your neck, but we didn't though i did go very very slowly as you know how clumsy i am, but once we got to the bottom we got to ride the 'scenic world' railway train back up, which you would not have liked as it literally is like a train and you sit righttttt back and then it pulls you up the mountain but at a practically virtical angle and then there were some bits there were in a cave so it was pitch black but it was good but amazing how the train could go that high up at such an angle with so many people on it, it was like a rde at alton towers except it didn't go at like 100 miles an hour thank goodness or we would have been in trouble! abd then after that we got to go in the girft shop and i only bought 2 postcards, one ofr andy's birthday and one for me then we got on the mini bus and drove back
and then that night we had our farewell dinner up sydney tower which was amazing, it rotats as you eat so you can get a 360 degree view of sydney as you eat, but it was really good food and i can't beliebve my week with ozintro is over, i wish it was loonger it was/is so nice to know what you are doing each day in advance and to do cool stuff which you've prepai for so it feels ike it's free haha;)
